In comparison with other free games, this game provides a new concept and different play style. However, this doesnt make up for the fact that the game fails on so many levels.
1) Poor instruction: For a game of this kind of complexity, a "wiki" hardly does it any justice. Especially one that is incomplete. Put together a quick start guide for new player. When I pick a race type, how does that impact me? Also, the "growth-ability" of your planet seems to be at random (as indicated by the number of plots on each planet). In a competitive game such as this let me feel comfortable before diving into the game.
2) Poor UI: Okay, so the game requires me to utilize resources and navigate in large expanses of space. So make it easy for me. Why should I have to flip through 3 screens in order to see if I have enough resources to build something? Also why is the "downgrade" option in the menu with a higher level building when it clearly belongs as part of the lower tiered buildings option. Or how about the star map, I cant even get back to my own planet because your games search function doesnt work. Common sense would indicate that theres a "home" button. Not intuitive, not easy to navigate
3) Lag/slow servers: Especially in a game like this, where I have to follow the instructions in my "inbox" you make it difficult to scroll and find my planet. Every few seconds the server loads and lags.
Thats your 3 stars right there gone. You only saving grace, interesting concept and absence of ads. If it werent for these two factors, Id have deleted the moment I opened it.
